Lina Vonti is a Helsinki-based artist creating intuitive abstract paintings. Her work is guided by emotion rather than structure, resulting in unique, one-of-a-kind pieces collected internationally.

Her practice focuses on the relationship between feeling, memory and colour — allowing each work to develop without a predetermined outcome.

Practice

Each painting begins without a sketch or predefined composition. Lina works directly on the canvas, letting forms, colour and movement emerge through response rather than control.

Nothing is planned in advance. The work often shifts direction before it finds its final balance. Each piece is a single moment, not repeated or recreated.

Lina’s works are held in private collections across Europe, China and the United States. She is based in Helsinki, where she continues to develop new works and international collaborations.
